A Blackhawks/Bruins Finals

If***

... Who/What the hell do we cheer for? A spontaneous player strike?

A meteor?

Verviticus 06-04-2013 07:29 PM

hawks because the postseason aggregate isn't 100% theirs now

Bourne Endeavor 06-04-2013 07:31 PM

Chicago. Reason?
  1. They are a soft team, thus we put an end to the "BIGGER!" narrative for a year.
  2. Rivalry aside, Chicago is fun team to watch.
  3. **** Boston.

PG Canuck 06-04-2013 07:33 PM

Hawks. They're exciting and I don't hate them nearly as much as Boston.

Hollywood Burrows 06-04-2013 07:35 PM

Hawks for me, I respect how they play. Undeniably entertaining, quick skating, puck possession team. Charismatic players throughout the roster (Duncan Keith excepted). A worthy rival to the Canucks.

The Bruins are a disgrace to hockey, and succeed because we're watching a league that is now willing and eager to degrade itself.

Yep.

But in terms of the actual hockey teams...the Hawks.

Reverend Mayhem 06-04-2013 07:38 PM

Boston

1. Only player I hate on this team is Marchand. Players I hate on the Hawks include: Bolland, Keith, Toews, Sharp, Carcillo.
2. Who doesn't want to see Jagr win another Cup? Besides everyone else still in this.
3. Could you really stomach the fact Keith and Bolland win another Cup in such a short period of time?
4. After the Boston tragedy, it would be nice to see something good happen in that city.
5. Hometown boy Milan Lucic could become a two-time Stanley Cup winner. Plus Cam Neely.
6. Because **** Brent Seabrook, right?

pretty much

if they didnt have bolland i might outright cheer for them

he's the only ******** from that 2009-10 mess that i still hate

burish and eager are elsewhere

Cool Hand Goof* 06-04-2013 07:44 PM

lets all just sit and pray that Pittsburgh turns things around

Eddy Punch Clock 06-04-2013 07:45 PM

Go Lions.

Dado 06-04-2013 07:46 PM

Boston is my 2nd team, that's be my choice.

pahlsson 06-04-2013 07:57 PM

boston easily

i ****in hate boston but you guys need to let 2011 go and realize who the bigger evil is

Vankiller Whale 06-04-2013 07:58 PM

Hopefully Pittsburgh makes a comeback and we don't have to worry about it. Although I'd rather see Chicago than LA.

Max Kellerman 06-04-2013 08:17 PM

Boston. Not because I like them just due to hockey pool reasons, aside from that **** both of them.

shortshorts 06-04-2013 08:18 PM

I respect the Hawks but don't like em.
I dont respect the Bruins and I don't like em.

Go Hawks Go.

JumpierPegasus 06-04-2013 08:24 PM

Boston. My finals prediction was Boston vs. Chicago final, with Boston winning...

Hammer79 06-04-2013 08:34 PM

Chicago, because an up-tempo, fast-skating high-scoring style is one I'd rather see teams emulate than Boston's. The last thing I want to see is a return to the dead puck era with big, unskilled players clogging up the neutral zone. Most of the West has already gone over to low-scoring hockey unfortunately. Also, I don't begrudge Chicago as much as Boston. Chicago won their series against us fair and square, Boston got helped out by the reffing and one-sided supplementary discipline decisions.

That said, I think Boston will win because the refs will let them do to Chicago what they did to us without consequences. That, and Rask >>> Crawford.

Boston is the highest scoring ES team in the playoffs. Not suggesting you should cheer for them, but they are a pretty highly skilled team.

just22 06-04-2013 09:03 PM

Who cares, people need to let go of whatever hatred they have of either team

me2 06-04-2013 09:13 PM

I care not who wins. At least one of them will have to go through the heart break of losing. mmm tears

serge2k 06-04-2013 09:18 PM

Hawks, but keith is somehow disgraced in some way which results in his name being removed from the cup and he is forever banned from hockey.

That would've been my preference except that I've got tickets to games 1 and 2 if the Hawks make it. (It's going to be like going to Canucks Fan Hell!) So hopefully the meteor can wait until game 3 at least.

DennisReynolds 06-04-2013 09:57 PM

Hawks beat the Canucks with skill while I can't say the same with the Bruins
