Off Ice Workout Plans?
Hey guys I will be heading out to college in the fall and I want to play for a Junior B team in the town or one of the smaller ones nearby.
I want to make the team so I was going to start training hard this summer but I'm not really sure what I should be doing.
I'm 6'3 210, I've always gotten by on my speed but I'm looking to be the best I can be so I can make the team.
I think what I need to work on most is strength/endurance, balance and agility too.
Any ideas on what workouts I could do?
I did sign-up for 247hockeyacademy.com/, it still is open for the first 200 participants for free. Great off-ice workout, some of the workouts (but by far not all and not in that much detail) are on the Youtube channel.
There also is OnlyHockeyTraining.com by Jeremy (the howtohockey-guy) plus the Youtube channel, but I haven't signed up for the program yet, so no in-depth knowledge about that.
Signed up for the academy. Curious what that is, but can't hurt.
