2013 HFNYR Boardies Golden Oldie (Best Veteran Poster)

This one should be a doozy. :D

True Blue 06-07-2013 12:30 PM

Wow. I remember when Jon & Rangerboy were fresh arrivals.

NYR Viper 06-07-2013 12:32 PM

I refuse to vote, I like you all!

Green Blob* 06-07-2013 12:38 PM

All good choices!

silverfish 06-07-2013 12:40 PM

Bluenote13 06-07-2013 12:40 PM

I appreciate the nom but I know there are many golden oldies that I'd vote for before me.

I've had 3 names since 2000 when the boards first began - Spunmelvin13, HLA-LUN-BRE - then it was Bluenote13.

Change the MVP award to the SBOB Award !

Machinehead 06-07-2013 12:47 PM

Going with Jonathan. here. Always liked him as a poster. Balances being smart and level-headed with being opinionated and and free-thinker.

Rangers Fail 06-07-2013 01:07 PM

Rangerboy, because he knows everything about hockey business.

Inferno 06-07-2013 01:23 PM

If I don't win, I'm leaving this board.

though, to be honest, that might be motivation for you guys NOT to vote for me.

nevermind.

:-D

Inferno 06-07-2013 01:24 PM

btw, it's Inferno with a CAPITAL I.

sheesh.

:)

RB gets all the info and lays it out nicely, absolutely invaluable to this place.

But then I find him giving out a great piece of info followed by his opinion - 'trade this guy to this team for this guy' !

Like 'that' will be the solution to the topic he posted. Often times I find those deals he proposes as bad as the ones you hear on sports radio, fans who want to trade almost every player year in year out'. I think he has offered up some good opinions but for who he is, gotta step it up, D-Step style :p:

Sorry RB, just trying to make you even better than you already are on here, I'm applying the Torts hardline method here ;)

Bob Richards 06-07-2013 01:39 PM

RB still has yet to collect his previous awards. The Brando of HFNYR.

Don't worry, there's little chance he's reading this.

We'll see if it registers with his database

TCRF 06-07-2013 01:53 PM

Robot.

we want cup 06-07-2013 01:54 PM

Not a bad option in the bunch. Going with Singn, though, because he has that fancy little award icon and I like shiny objects.

Blueblood9 06-07-2013 02:12 PM

Went with bluenote13 im always amazed at his knowledge of prospects.

before i joined i lurked for 2 years and his posts leading up to the draft are what made me familiar with the prospects. He still amazes me when talking about people in there draft year years ago like it was yesterday like its nothing.

RB is awesome with the cba and i put him a close 2nd.

Jackson Ranger 06-07-2013 03:09 PM

I voted for Sickboy! :sarcasm:

Seriously, they are all worthy. :handclap:

ECL 06-07-2013 03:10 PM

SBOB is my favorite poster of all time on this site. So I gotta go with him.

ECL 06-07-2013 03:11 PM

I do appreciate the votes, however, from my minions. :D

bourgeoisie 06-07-2013 03:13 PM

Don't know what I would have done without RangerBoy's lockout updates/analysis. Had to vote for him.

Kwayry 06-07-2013 04:22 PM

I appreciate bluenotes prospects evaluations.
I called him out once on Stepan and he stepped up to the plate and manned up. No digging in, no pompous statements, just a man owning up to his mistake. Since then, you sir have my respect.

Maturity opens your mind to places you didn't know existed ;)

bernmeister 06-07-2013 04:52 PM

Rangerboy already our most knowledgeable/MVP

Went with Jonathan, best vet.

Bluenote13 will get my vote for prospects expert.
