EZ Goal Backstop question

I'm currently looking into just getting the backstop for $80.

My question is since it says it will fit all 48x72 goals, will it be able to attach on my tiny 43x52 goal?

I'm just wondering if the top netting will droop down, or if the bars won't attach. Will I face any problems?

Thanks

I've never tried to use it on a smaller net, but I'm sure the top net will droop and you may have trouble with the sides.

I have mine on a somewhat narrower net. It is easy to adjust, just attach it following the directions, but then when you are done, just take up the slack in the net across the top by pulling it tight to one of the ends and tying in place. You have a little bit of net hanging behind the net that spans the top, but it doesn't have any negative impact on it.

The sides of the backstop are self standing (and then they just get tied onto the sides of the goal) and not really affected by the size of the goal they are attached to.

For the height difference, I don't think it will be a problem to get things tied into place either. I'm sure you can figure out a way to make it work.
