QMJHL Schedule 2013-14

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears that the Q has made subtle changes to the schedule this upcoming year. Maritime teams no longer play some Quebec teams twice, and some 3 times.

Maritime Division
- 9 games vs. 4 inner-division teams = 36 games
- 8 games vs. 1 inner-division team (Hal vs. SJ, AB vs. CB, Monc vs. Char) = 8 games
- 2 games vs. Telus West and Telus East teams = 24 games

RN/Val d'or
-10 games vs. each other = 10 games
- 6 games vs. 4 other inner-divisional teams = 24 games
- 4 games vs. Rim/Que/Vic/Shaw = 16 games
- 3 games vs. BC/Chi = 6 games
- 2 games vs. Maritime Div. teams = 12 games

Chi/BC
- 10 games vs. each other = 10 games
- 6 games vs. 4 other inner-divisional teams = 24 teams
- 4 games vs. Gat/BB/Sher/Drum = 16 games
- 3 games vs. VD'o/RN = 6 games
- 2 games vs. Maritime Div. teams = 12 games

All other Quebec-based teams
- 8 games vs. "rival" (Gat vs. BB, Sher vs. Drum, Vic vs. Shaw, Que vs. Rim) = 8 games
- 6 games vs. 4 remaining divisional teams = 24 games
- 4 games vs. other Quebec based Div (West vs. East) = 24 games
- 2 games vs. Maritime Div. teams = 12 games

So, the Eagles, Titan, Islanders & Wildcats make up 30% of the Mooseheads' schedule. Lol. I don't mind it. I prefer rivalry games.

Well, that's 4 teams out of 17 the Mooseheads can play in the QMJHL. 4 out of 17 is 24%.

So basically I'm not sure what so special about Halifax playing those 4 teams 30% of the time. They're division rivals. And why didn't you include Saint John? Very confusing post to say the least.

They play 9 games vs. 4 inner-division teams or 10 games vs. 4 inner-division teams? One of us counted wrong.

They're division rivals.

It's up about 7% this year.

They play two fewer games against the Sea Dogs.

we'll get to hear all about it in the times transcript again, how moncton have the worst schedule, the worst arena deal, bla bla bla....every year, it's the same song that is played.. I hope we dont have to listen to it again, because every team in the league have those types of weekends.
