Pontus Aberg progress

Completely forgot about this guy becuase I never see anyone mention him. I know he has a whole year before we can even think about bringing him over to the team but I was wondering if anyone had any updates on his progress overseas and if there is any chance we can bring him over early and maybe play in the ahl

He had the most points in the sweed2 league I belive along with ff. guy is looking good for a top 6 playe in the future was considered a 1st round pick last year and feel.. This year he has had a great year and progressed well. That trade last year and the Erat trade this year made a very short retool for this teams future.

It appears he's emerging as the #3 prospect behind this year's pick and FF.

So a first line of Aberg-Barkov-Forsberg in a few years looks pretty good?
:handclap:

Had a rough start and was cut from the WJC Team because of it,
but after that he really found his game and progressed. Scored around 1 PPG for the second half of the season.
In total he had 40 Points in 52 games, led his team in Points and was 12th in the whole league.
Led all junior players in Points, but Forsberg had a slightly higer PPG.
He signed a 2 years deal with Färjestad a few months ago, so he will play in the Swedish Elite League for the next to seasons.
A better league, but the gap isn't as big as many belive, and the game there is more defensive and tactical compared to the allsvenskan.
He already has pretty good offensive tools, so let's hope he can improve his defensive game there, so that he doen't have to spend a long time in the AHL in 2 years.
Defently has Top 6 Potential.

Hope he continues to develop. So he is for sure there for 2 more years though?
