The Ghost gets a ring

PG getting 1 is better than the bunch of goons, hypocrites and cheap shot artists getting a 2nd.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Kane, Toews, Bickell and Bolland are legends. And let's not forget South Shore boy Corey Crawford!

Face81 06-24-2013 09:55 PM

**** YEAAAAA!!!1one

LyricalLyricist 06-24-2013 09:55 PM

Haha, no I'm just dicking around. So happy that goon Chara didn't get another one.

He's a scout there. Bowman's the GM.

"director of player personnel"

AnthonyD 06-24-2013 09:57 PM

What a finish! YES!!!

Jack Bourdain 06-24-2013 09:58 PM

Sweet justice losing in the last minutes. Maple Leafs fans must be happy.

Ezpz 06-24-2013 09:58 PM

Perfect finish.

Cupmonger 06-24-2013 09:59 PM

Literally dancing right now.

Marc the Habs Fan 06-24-2013 09:59 PM

Can't wait for Bettman's awkward speeches. LOL.

Erik Estrada 06-24-2013 10:00 PM

Woooloooooo

Congrats to vegan skeletor...!

Crimson Skorpion 06-24-2013 10:00 PM

And with that... I'm back!

Congrats, Hawks!!

Jack Bourdain 06-24-2013 10:01 PM

If my team lost on home ice id still stick around, you don't get to watch the cup parade every day.

CrazyBob 06-24-2013 10:03 PM

What is really funny about that is that the Boston fans were chanting "We want the cup! We want the cup!" while it was 2-1. And they got what they wanted

Yeah right...if I watched the Habs lose the Cup at home there'd be a hototogisu-sized hole in the arena wall in my dash to drown my sorrows in beer/hard liquor/rubbing alcohol.

I'm also glad because a ''skill and speed team'' just beat 2 ''big/rough/physical teams'' in rounds 3 and 4. Yes, Chicago has some big guys, but their identity is a speed and skill game.

NHL hockey would have probably become fairly ugly if the Bruins had won again. Virtually everyone would have tried to copy them - with most teams having nowhere near the same personnel.

Thank god.

He'll wait in the alley and beat up Hossa and steal his:laugh:

donghabs98 06-24-2013 10:08 PM

What an end to the season.

HiggsBozon 06-24-2013 10:09 PM

Anyway. Gratz to the Hawks. Ultimately, the best team in the league won it all. Called them to win in 6 before the series, that's what happened, so I can't say I'm surprised.

I just can't wait to hear how Bickell is a "glorified grinder" now that he played a MAJOR role in this Cup win for his team. Go ahead people and get me those fenwick and corsi craps

I don't know man...watching the Hawks and Bruins battle it out in the finals sort of drove home just how far I think we are from being at that level.

gusfring 06-24-2013 10:10 PM

Also funny that someone around here was arguing that Shaw wasn't a key player for the Hawks. I think he was...

HatTricK09 06-24-2013 10:11 PM
