So exciting..

Shaby23 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

Damn i'm glad we signed Brière. Look at all the overpayments for these bad players. Just need to trade DD or Gionta and we are good to go.

Andy 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

Tsn and Leafs talk every 5 minutes.

uiCk 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

:scared:

we got our UFA already. Fun to see teams handicapping themselves with terrible contracts.

Coldplay 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

The madness continues.

23 points in 28 games. The horror.

Watching the reporters is akin to gliding down the Congo river, descending into madness in the quiet, imposing savagery.

btw guys, you totally missed out on my wicked abortion joke on page 39.

still hoping for some moves--trade Desharnais - sign lapierre to replace armstrong, sign a goon, sign peckham too

And what if the pieces dont come down...
Is it too much to ask for a great team? Im so done with buying tickets and giving Bergevin my money if he doesnt make a trade this summer.

LaurentHabs 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

Hoping for either (or both) Ryan Jones and Viktor Stalberg. Both ideal for our bottom 6.

Malakhov 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

The Briere signing looks like a bargain right now...as much as I hate it...

Coldplay 07-05-2013 12:10 PM

I'm feeling so much better about the Briere deal after seeing this ******** spending.

belko 07-05-2013 12:11 PM

Plekanec would fetch 7 bills in this nutty market if he was UFA

Just ruins our rep.

Not even close. You don't lose your reputation when you do smart things, doesn't matter how many people around you are doing stupid things.

Bergevin is looking smarter by the minute.

Galchenyuk27 07-05-2013 12:11 PM

Yeah, I still don't love the Briere deal but it sure does look better at least.

Whitesnake 07-05-2013 12:11 PM

Would be great to see if Matt Halischuk couldn't get his career on the right track.

Does it involve Bergevin's "balls" again? :toothless

Bourdon101 07-05-2013 12:11 PM

Is tsn that bad, because im on rds and it is a horror.

FrankMTL 07-05-2013 12:11 PM

Wait, so we didn't get Scuderi?? Why didn't we just pay more to get him? Bergevin sucks! lol :sarcasm:

I love these posts...

Have been hoping for Stalbeg and Bickell (before his playoffs burst) since I read the free agents list a good while ago. But I doubt we acquire anyone today unless it's from a trade.

Its a good signing, it just isnt right with the current make up of our top 6

JayKing 07-05-2013 12:12 PM

Hopefully Bergevin trades a C or Gionta soon.

Tyson 07-05-2013 12:12 PM

I know this is old news but can anyone tell me why MB had the compulsion to extend DD for 4 years during the season when he was not producing?

Rosso Scuderia 07-05-2013 12:12 PM

I still want to see Jagr on Plekanec's wing. Plekanec deserves a decent winger all season long for once.
