2.) Petr Mrázek - 21, G: 6'1" 187 lbs. Ostrava, CZE 63.00%

6.) Anthony Mantha - 18, RW/LW: 6'4" 190 lbs. Longueuil, QC, CAN 35.25%

The votes have slowed to a trickle, enough so to call round 6.

Our huge shiny new toy wins position number 6. Actually wonder how many other teams #1 pick don't immediately wind up in their top 5, does speak to some of the guys in front of him and I didn't even vote for him for #6.

Almqvist is the add, beating Nastasiuk by a singe vote.

As usual vote and throw up an add, plus discuss.

Bäckman again once the poll is up. Add Janmark.

Same here, for me it was very close between Backman and Tinky Winky but ultimately went with Mattias. Sheahan will be my next vote for sure.

InjuredChoker 07-09-2013 02:56 PM

Bäckman, add Nasty.

The Zetterberg Era 07-09-2013 02:56 PM

oops, put the AA's in the wrong alphabetical order, brain cramp I guess.

Sheahan, add Nastasiuk

SoupNazi 07-09-2013 03:03 PM

Frk.

Rzombo4 prez 07-09-2013 03:07 PM

Went with Sheahan. Not a super huge ceiling, but is close to ready IMHO.

The Zetterberg Era 07-09-2013 03:09 PM

Really interesting to see Sheahan tumble in these polls after he really showed a positive in the one area we demanded from him when turning pro, which is his offensive upside. He is going to have finished higher up last season than this with less question marks in his game and a couple of the prospects removed from this poll.

I for one don't really understand why.

Guru Meditation 07-09-2013 03:11 PM

Sheahan. Add Janmark.

Jon Cusack 07-09-2013 03:21 PM

I think the next order is some combination of Frk, Sheahan and Backman for me. I went with Backman on this one.

odin1981 07-09-2013 03:25 PM

Sheahan. Add Janmark.

think its more of a reflection of the progress of those ahead of him. agree that this year was a positive step in his development. he could have helped himself with a better showing in his one game this year, but i'm certainly not placing too much value on those 6 minutes of iced time in these rankings.

backman, add janmark

Eastopia 07-09-2013 03:39 PM

Sheahan. Add Nastasiuk.

Henkka 07-09-2013 03:50 PM

Up there between Backman and Frk, I'm gonna say Backman since he seems to play a little better in a men's league, and isn't on a line with two of the top draft picks from this year. Add Nasta the Rasta I guess.

MBauer 07-09-2013 04:31 PM

Sheahan, almost a sure thing and could be a very good 3c, Frk is top six or bust, his offensive potential isn't enough for me to put above Sheahan.

Boomhower 07-09-2013 04:39 PM

Frk

add Bertuzzi:D

Kronwalled55 07-09-2013 05:07 PM

Marty Frk. I still think it's crazy he dropped to 48?th overall last year. Injury or not.

Konnan511 07-09-2013 05:10 PM

I said almqvist. He played very well in Sweden and followed that up with a great rookie season in the AHL. Next pick would be Frk.

ricky0034 07-09-2013 05:21 PM

Frk

he could actually be what people used to say Pulkkinen would be when he was hyped around here

DatsyukToZetterberg 07-09-2013 05:24 PM

Sheahan for me. He finally showed some above average offensive in the playoffs this season & that fact he's NHL ready is why he should be #7.

Frk still has a few too many question marks for my liking, I have him at 9 behind both Sheahan & Ferraro.

Add Janmark
