Prospect Poll #12

Theodore wins.

Updated rankings here.

DuckTech 07-22-2013 09:07 PM

Do people realize that our prospects remaining are = to some teams total prospect list...awesome. That said Anderson then Laganiere or DSP or Sorensen...all of which may be NHL players some day down the road.

Exit Dose 07-22-2013 09:11 PM

Now it gets interesting.

My order at this point would be Wagner and Andersen. Past that...Welinski is in there for sure. I'm not sure what to make of Sorensen. I didn't get to see him much. DSP, Thompson, and Laganiere?

Paul4587 07-22-2013 10:35 PM

This is where it gets hard for me. I think there is a big drop off after 11. The depth we have is ridiculous - to have 11 guys who make most teams top 5s.

Hampe 07-22-2013 10:53 PM

Andersen. But after this, anything goes.

NEWFowler 07-23-2013 12:14 AM

Smith-Pelly. People are souring on him because his horrible season this year, which is understandable. I'm concerned as well, but I really think Smith-Pelly is going to be a great checker somewhere down the road.

nbducksfan19 07-23-2013 12:27 AM

Laganiete seems very underrated, he was a very sought after free agent that is close to nhl ready

ShadowDuck 07-23-2013 01:06 AM

The ever unpopular...DSP

Gliff 07-23-2013 02:26 AM

From this point on it is anyone's game.

Roy

JabbaJabba 07-23-2013 03:05 AM

I think that DSP is getting underrated a bit too much in this poll.

If this was 2 seasons ago i would agree....he was awful last season.

JeffShibley 07-23-2013 03:23 AM

I went with Friberg. I really like him...looks like I will be going with him for a while though since even people that mention their next 5 don't even bring him up.

Ducks Nation* 07-23-2013 03:25 AM

I went DSP, and as much as I hated him last year (soft, slow, etc)

Kalv 07-23-2013 03:46 AM

Andersen then Roy

The Sunshine Duke 07-23-2013 06:47 AM

After Andersen, there are a ton of players who could go.

TesseracT 07-23-2013 10:17 AM

Picked Roy but it looks like Anderson has this one locked up & DSP the next.

quentez 07-23-2013 10:50 AM

I went for Friberg. He has some obvious goalscoring skills, but will need his time to develop.

snarktacular 07-23-2013 12:10 PM

Roy.

The problem is, after last year, he is going in the wrong direction. Until he puts on the brakes and rights the ship he will be viewed below others who are seen as getting better. I'm not saying it can't or won't happen, just explaining why he is so currently unloved.

The Sunshine Duke 07-23-2013 12:34 PM

This one is surprisingly close. DSP hadn't much of a showing until now (although I did leave him off last time).

HanSolo 07-23-2013 03:10 PM

This shouldn't be close. Andersen showed up way more than DSP did for the same team. Without DSP the team wouldn't suffer too much. Andersen took Norfolk to within one game of the playoffs. The guy had better stats than a lot of the "top 10" goalie prospects in the AHL right now. Andersen is our best prospect still up there.

I think your comment was a game changer

Now Andersen is leading this poll.
