Corey Pronman with his Preds' Top 10 ranking, Preds # 6 Overall

No shock that Seth Jones is #1, #3 is a shock though

I take it Ryan Ellis graduated.

Wow. In his projections, we have a possible elite defenseman (Jones(, a possible 1st line forward (Forsberg), a possible 2nd pairing D (Ekholm), then SEVEN possible 2nd line forwards (Aberg, Beck, Watson, Vesey, Salomaki, Leipsic, Budish). If even three of those seven live up to that expectation, I'd be thrilled.

Top 2 prospects have been in the organization for less than 4 months. The cupboard is being restocked.

Yeah, looks like he did. The scroll on top is way out of date.

The big shock to me is Leipsic way down at #9. I'd have him in the top-5/6. Overall, good list and info.

I agree. Leip is too low, Vesey is too high. Although with SLake's endorsement of him, and now this, maybe I'm underrating him.

I think Hellberg deserves a spot in the top 10 somewhere. Other than that, very good list.

I really liked Vesey at camp. Feel he's come a long way and in the scrimmage was doing all the little things that coaches love, yet don't show up on the scoresheet. Vesey was on the middle of the play on each shift and scored a goal as well.

Overall, I think the projection is a little too high on Budish (top-9 power forward, but not second liner), but all in all a good representation of the depth and quality of the system. Looking forward to watching Stepan's progress entering the NCAA this year.
