I still think he ends up in Washington, myself.

Marvelous Manked 07-25-2013 01:00 PM

Calgary PLEASE.

CraniumCram 07-25-2013 01:00 PM

Buffalo, watch out.

NH57 07-25-2013 01:01 PM

I wonder if he'd consider coming back to Montreal

archangel archangel 07-25-2013 01:03 PM

are these the same sources that had Iggy to bruins at the deadline as a slamdunk? Just saying

Chip Chipperson 07-25-2013 01:04 PM

Florida.

allan5oh 07-25-2013 01:05 PM

Not shocked at all that the Jets are out, we just don't have the cap space.

Really????

gdsmack267 07-25-2013 01:10 PM

Flroida, washington and Buffalo would be my 3 guesses

Top 6 Spaling 07-25-2013 01:11 PM

I hope the Preds are in, but I'd guess Florida, Washington, and Buffalo. Maybe Dallas or Phoenix as a dark horse.

Whatever team it is, they will knock the Leafs out of the playoffs on the last day of the season.

thadd 07-25-2013 01:11 PM

Washington or Anaheim.

Pacioretty would disagree :sarcasm:

I could 100% see him going to Nashville

I'd take him for 1 year, allows us to trade DD and still keep Galchenyuk on the wing for this season.

Pacioretty-Plekanec-Gallagher
Galchenyuk-Grabovski-Briere
Bourque-Eller-Gionta
Prust-White-Moen/Parros

not bad.

Ricky Bobby 07-25-2013 01:14 PM

Anahiem should be at the top of his list.

Burke connection. Need a 2nd line center. Boudreau runs a transition style of game that suits Grabovski skillset.

Unfortunately I believe Penner signing killed chance of him going to Anaheim. Unless he takes 3 million or less.

Evgeny Oliker 07-25-2013 01:18 PM

To me the team that needs him the most is Calgary. Right now they have close to nothing at Center.

Hudler is more of a winger.

Stajan is a 3rd line center at best.

Backlund may not reach expectations...hasnt done much in NHL so far.

Monahan may not be ready. Even if he is, they are still very thin at Center.

Grabovski, if he is willing to take a reasonable offer, would be a strong addition for them. He is not a #1 Center, but he might be one of their best options for next few years.

Dr John Carlson 07-25-2013 01:18 PM

McPhee said a while ago that Brooks Laich was gonna be their 2nd line center next year (:shakehead:shakehead), so unless he's available for a real bargain, Washington's probably not one of the teams.

JMcLeaf 07-25-2013 01:19 PM

Nashville, Calgary or Anaheim I hope

You guys already have nearly 15.5M going to Legwand, Fisher, Cullen, and Gaustad, do you really need Grabovski?

Agreed. He'd be a good fit. But he has to get the term and $ he is looking for elsewhere.

Who is going to trade for DD? I would expect that most teams would rather sign Grabo to a DD "type" contract ($, term) instead of trading for DD.
