I think it was at this point where, I thought they were going to win it. I was almost positive they were going to win. Just the way the team handled them and the confidence that they were showing. Dang I wish I was at that game.

I was at that game, and that is the loudest I have ever heard Staples Center. Bar none.

Of course, I wasn't at any of the Detroit games in 2001. So I can't compare those to this one. And I am sure the Miracle on Manchester beats all. But I only heard that on the radio.

My son and I went to King Taco after the game. He told me that he didn't believe anybody could stop them. After experiencing 45 years of frustration, I didn't share his optimism completely, but I did tell him I thought he was right. I hadn't seen a team dominate in the playoffs like that since really the New York Islanders in the early '80s.

I think after game 3 of this series was when I thought we really had our shot at the cup. But *******, over a year later and seeing just how happy Bob was that we won makes me a very happy person. He truly deserved to see this team win one while he was still working.

Yep... even slightly louder than game 6 of the Final. For whatever reason (probably the super-tight score), that building vibrated when Brown scored that EN goal to clinch the series. A day game no less.

It was the shock of winning a day game that caused Staples Center to erupt.
