Me, because when this thread is filled with 100 posts I might find out what redeption means!!!:amazed:

For the sake of the team I hope Desharnais will have a great season, but I'd really like to see Bourque score 30 goals in a Habs uniform !!

Max? What? He was on pace for over 70 points.

DD will be better but it won't matter because he is such a terrible fit for the team.

I'll think about Redeption for a player just when someone explains to me what Redeption is.

Lars Mon Amour 09-05-2013 08:29 PM

Redemption and Max Pacioretty don't go together. He was our best forward for the last two years after coming back from a terrible injury.

My choice is Carey Price.

sharks9 09-05-2013 08:36 PM

I think it'll definitely be Carey Price

WhiskeySeven 09-05-2013 08:39 PM

Patches had a good year and was rather hurt in the playoffs.

Desharnais and Moen need to step it up but I don't really care about that - I'm more worried about our defense+goalie as a whole. I think Therrien should step it up, his coaching was peewee level toward the end of season.

JeffMangum 09-05-2013 08:40 PM

Is the term "redeption" a combination of inception and redemption?

donghabs98 09-05-2013 09:27 PM

I gotta go with Carey. New season, new goalie coach and Olympic hopes he should be well motivated.

+1 that's what I'm hoping at least

poetryinmotion 09-05-2013 09:42 PM

I'll be very sad if it isn't Price. Very.

Richiebottles 09-05-2013 09:50 PM

Price and DD IMO will both have big seasons.

Habs Junkie 09-05-2013 09:56 PM

Subban!

He's gonna be so great that we're gonna say: pffff only Norris??? Yeah off season

ak90210 09-05-2013 09:58 PM

It better be price.

hockeyjockey 09-05-2013 10:03 PM

Briere... He'll get every opportunity to put the last 2 years in a distant memory.

Briere

Price
Gorges
Desharnais

Grant McCagg 09-05-2013 10:12 PM

Best bounce back player ever was Rick O'Shea.

jaffy27 09-05-2013 10:29 PM

Best bounce back player of all time is Andre Agassi.

As for Montreal, I think Price and Moen have a lot to prove, Price has got to deliver this year. His defence has got a bit more jam this year with Subban, Emelin (when healthy), Tinordi and Murray. HABS are definitely on right track.

Teufelsdreck 09-05-2013 10:29 PM

Desharnais HAS to do better or he'll be a liability with a regrettable contract.

I doubt he'll ever live up to it, hope he proves me wrong

Harpo 09-05-2013 10:43 PM

Based on expectations, DD and Briere won't be half as bad as some think they will be.

Eller and Gallagher won't be the studs most expect. Galchenyuk will progress, but not as much as we'd like.

It's gonna hurt.

sheed36 09-05-2013 10:51 PM

I'm hoping it's Price..

S Bah 09-05-2013 10:54 PM

In truth, it's hard to imagine any player from last season's Habs that would need to redeem themselves. The Habs went from last place in the East to Division Champions in the Northeast, Subban won the Norris Trophy, Gallagher was a finalist for the Calder Trophy. Actually if the Habs hadn't had bad luck with injuries to Emelin and Diaz on defence along with the injuries sustained by Gionta, Eller and Prust all regulars and key personnel, the Habs fortunes could have been even greater last year.
Perhaps redemption is a term that could have been applied two years ago but IMO not at all applicable to any player last year.

Price. Without him we're going nowhere.
