Habs lose to the Sabres in Shootout - Tank Mode On.

Thread.

Liked what I saw from Reway, Nystrom, Andrighetto, St-Pierre, Pateryn, and Tinordi.

Collberg and Nystrom were kind of "eh" but they're still young, full of talent and have lots of time to adapt.

Full tilt tank.

Fucale did well, but you can see he still has a lot of work in front of him.

Zaide 09-15-2013 09:35 PM

RIP Habs

TYLENOL 09-15-2013 09:35 PM

Player of the night: Martin St-Pierre, guys a beast! Bergevin's best signing of the summer!

Bobby G 09-15-2013 09:36 PM

Didn't notice Collberg at all.
Love McCarron, Tinordi and the EGG line
Pateryn surprised me
Holland also stood out for only playing 11 minutes

I've really liked Buffalo as a franchise but it should be illegal to have Ott and Kaleta on the same team, god they're annoying

FanHabtic 09-15-2013 09:36 PM

Bournival was born again in this game. He did everything tonight.

Kaleta for Lady Byng!

It might be longer than we think for Collberg. He's clearly a guy in need of AHL and going back home will make him a Habs, maybe in 3 years. Collberg will need the same adaptation than Nygren will. 1 year in the AHL for sure.

ThaDevilGirl 09-15-2013 09:36 PM

Does anyone know if Pateryn is single?

Pricenyuk 09-15-2013 09:37 PM

I kind of expected more from the Eller, Galchenyuk, and Gallagher line. Not that they played badly though. I was pleased, but was looking forward to a bit more.

PP was awful tonight, but I guess that's what you get when you don't have PK and Markov in the lineup, and have Diaz running the show.

Only a preseason game though.

le_sean 09-15-2013 09:37 PM

Honestly, Kaleta is the one player in the league I would not mind if he suffered a career ending injury. What a ****ing dirtbag.

Et le But 09-15-2013 09:37 PM

@enystrom23: Well i just got a few new followers from Montreal! Ha. Wrong Eric Nystrom!

Tyson 09-15-2013 09:37 PM

Pateryn was the most impressive Hab.
I don't dislike Drewiske but he is not NHL material. McCarron played very well.

Being annoying is fine. Gallagher is annoying, that's the role of these players. But Kaleta and Ott are classless punk.

This wouldn't have happened if we had Blake Kessel. :sarcasm:

25get 09-15-2013 09:37 PM

We had much less NHL players than the Sabres.
Anyway, I think we are in good shape with our prospects.

I also liked the way they were managed by our coaching staff.
We often forget them but they did a pretty good job.

Tinordi is NHL ready.

OpenIceHit 09-15-2013 09:37 PM

It was only one game but IMO I would rather have Tinordi than Diaz and/or Drewskie. I really liked Tinordi tonight.

I was impressed by Bournival and McCaron. They're better than I thought.

Not too impressed by Eller. Plekanec is still miles ahead. But again, it was just one game...

Is he even AHL material? lmao

The dude just came of an injury tough!

deandebean 09-15-2013 09:38 PM

Loved big Mac's presence. Got some hands too. Pateryn was soliiiid. Tinordi too, but made some lazy plays sometimes.

Bournival was verrrry good. Collberg, meh. Reway almost died.

Oh and wtf is a Drewiskie? Both kids were better than him.

And Stephane Langdeau gained some weight.

Hullois 09-15-2013 09:38 PM

Tinordi should make the team this year, and in 2-3 years he will be #2 next to Subban. He is that giant shutdown D we have been looking for for years.

And McCarron can play

Tyson 09-15-2013 09:38 PM

Kaleta is the dirtiest player and hides behind his face shield. Despise him

Draft 09-15-2013 09:39 PM

Diaz was a gem tonight.
