Cant wait to see murray and tinordi go up against the Bs. Briere and Thomas should be interesting as well.

Phil Parent 09-15-2013 11:23 PM

Ryan White plays a pre-season game VS the Bruins. Should be good for some dramatics.

Hudon, Thomas, Brière & Desharnais, hey? Putting on our giants!

Hullois 09-15-2013 11:26 PM

Therrien really wants to have a good look at Tinordi

poetryinmotion 09-15-2013 11:37 PM

Having PK Subban feels like we have Eric Staal in a way. The best of the brothers.

dkdaniel 09-15-2013 11:42 PM

Gonna be an aggressive game.

Could it get more heated them tonight?

yoteshot 09-16-2013 12:05 AM

I'm guessing:

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Brière
Hudon - Leblanc - Thomas
White - Dumont - Moen
Fournier - Tarnasky - Blunden

Gorges-Subban
Bouillon-Tinordi
Dietz-Murray

Price
Mayer

JLP 09-16-2013 12:07 AM

Who will Tarnasky beat up (pr vice versa) ?

Draft 09-16-2013 12:13 AM

So tonight seems to be a focused tryout for Tinordi/Pateryn/Nygren and this game will be a tryout for Thomas/Leblanc/Dumont.

Seem reasonable?

Price My Man Crush 09-16-2013 12:34 AM

Got two tickets yesterday for my birthday for this game. So pumped man. :yo:

Our fowards are not that small for that game, our D looks somewhat though so they will protect our smurfs.

We will lose because we should be smaller againts Boston.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Game got chippy in the third but aside from that just the usual business.

HatTricK09 09-16-2013 02:25 AM

Glad McCarron isn't in the lineup.
Gotta protect our prospect so they don't ruin themselves by trying to do too much when they're not ready

Thanks for info/lineup/thread.

Against the Bruins/Leaves I don't want anything less than the above because I don't want the Bruins or Leaves going around messing with our skilled players (the way Kaleta did with Galchenyuk...Tarnasky, White...someone should have taken care of Kaleta, imo).

In BOLD: players that can be there for our smaller players (great physical presence vs a team full of goons).

P.S.: imo we will pay close attention to Leblanc, Hudon, Thomas, Dietz, Murray, Fournier, Tinordi, and Tarnasky+Murray+White (to see if they can keep the goons away from our skilled/smaller players).

Exactamundo!!

McCarron will be ready for the NHL in 2+ yrs (maybe 3?).
I don't want him facing the Bruins or Leaves as a teen (he's still too young...we need to protect him).

I just want him to be a physical presence out there, go to the net, and just give us that dimension we haven't had in awhile (and if he can sometimes protect our smaller players with his presence...nice bonus).
If he ends up a solid 3rd liner that helps our team go far in the playoffs...I'm one happy Hab fan. But I can see him being a 2nd line Power Forward (with time/patience). So happy he's in our system...just a matter of time now!

I'll be able to watch this game tonight! Can't wait! Second line hopefully impresses.

FamousTee 09-16-2013 07:00 AM

Most excited I've been for a preseason game. Subban brothers battling and Stefan Fournier is playing in a Habs uniform? Unreal.

Luiginho 09-16-2013 07:18 AM

Hey guys. Quick question. Where is Ellis? Is he injured?
