Recent papers are suggesting that it could take a week to 10 days after a deal is agreed in principle until the NHLPA and the player meet and have and complete the voting process to ratifiy the new CBA .. Until the majority vote is complete and the answer is YES to accept no deal is done .

So I would guess you need to add 10 days mimimum to be safe from the time of acceptance in principle which might come next week.

I hope really soon because they all seem to be making progress,but even though the players say that the deal is bad for them for some strange reason. As we all wait for them to get a deal done and finalized so hockey can be back already,For my hockey fix I went to alot of Saskatoon Blades home games and playoffs until they were cut short by a quick First round defeat at the hands of the PA Raiders :madfire: :rant: But next season will be much better. :yo: :)

if he wasnt, thsi deal would be done already
why else would it be going on so long if the NHLPA allegedly "caved" on every facet?

Goodenow is trying to save face, because he got beat worse than he ever got from his parents, or in grade school.

He still got paid.

It is all about money.

The deal is not done yet and until its final and voted in Goodenow is still a part of the picture ..

Goodenow has not been attending all these meetings and while its very very remote that this gets de-railed , its still exists as a possibilty ..

Decertification of a union is always an option and so ..lets not count our chickens before they are hatched just yet ..

The latest on TSN is that there are still issues that have not be agreed to, and the suggestion is it is more than fine tuning.
