Shane Doan Approved!

While better to have the injury bug early on; who would have guess we would by missing so many players on D and key Dmen at one time?

ck26 10-08-2013 03:19 AM

Can we get "R I B E I R O" spelled right for game 3?

Go Yotes!

Go Yotes

0point1 10-08-2013 03:52 AM

Thanks AP for another GDT.

I love remembering watching Doan's hat trick live and then wondering and hoping he make it before the clock ran out. They showed the video of the puck crossing the line with 0.1 seconds left. Then when it officially announced as a good goal it was so awesome. So happy he finally got his hat trick.

May the power of Gospel 860 deliver another Doan hat trick.

Unfortunately I am only going to catch the first period, tonight I'm going to the Depeche Mode concert.

Thanks! Sadly I wanted to do a last hurrah theme seeing this is the last season of NHL hockey in Nassau County. I couldn't find much in the way of Coyotes history vs the Islanders on Long Island.

I only saw this.

We're not moving to Brooklyn until 2015, so you've got at least one more game (assuming we dont meet in the SCF ;) ).

Looking forward to the tilt tonight. Glad to see that you guys are still around. Always liked your franchise and Shane Doan, just tell him to knock that hat trick crap off this time, deal?

WJF 10-08-2013 10:18 AM

OEL's status?

Do we start another start-of-year countdown for when Doan get's his first point?

rt 10-08-2013 10:27 AM

God bless that blue line depth, right? OEL, Morris, and Klesla out. That's #1, #4, and #5. Yeesh.

Also, I predict each team scores 2.5 goals.

JTPoni23 10-08-2013 10:34 AM

With 3 of the top 6 D out for the Yotes, and the open style and weaker defensive system of the Isles, I see this being the first "high scoring" game of the year.

Yotes win 4-3 in OT/SO.

Has this been confirmed anywhere?

0point1 10-08-2013 12:14 PM

Today is David Rundblad birthday. Can we a goal or maybe at least an assist from the birthday boy?

RafaNadal 10-08-2013 12:36 PM

Interesting how we resspond to the debacle against the sharks. And with quality missing from the lineup it sure will be a challange.

tuxonpups 10-08-2013 01:19 PM

Oh, nothing, just getting the avatar in early for luck.

SI90 10-08-2013 01:26 PM

Isles fan here.

First congrats on the new ownership. I know what its like not to know the fate of my team..

I was wondering what the status was on OEL and Morris?

Will they play?

Im torn because I love OEL and want to seem him play but at the same time if he and Morris don't play it helps the Isles chances...Thanks and good luck.

The nhl.com preview reads "Coyotes defensemen Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Derek Morris, both of whom did not practice on Monday, are expected to play tonight."

technoviking 10-08-2013 02:18 PM

Ya I doubt either injury to DeMo or OEL is serious, that game was so brutal, I would have held them back as well.

The Underboss 10-08-2013 02:35 PM

Good luck tonight guys!! Hoping for a good game.

awfulwaffle 10-08-2013 02:43 PM

Hoping to get off work early so I can get home for the game. I don't see it listed on COX so I don't know if I'll be able to record - I don't want to try to record all the shows lined up in the slots during the game and jump from show to show.

Creating a manual recording on Cox is pretty easy. Change the channel to the one you need, do not open the guide, press the red record button, scroll down till you see create a manual recording, then set the date/time.

JTPoni23 10-08-2013 03:09 PM

If OEL and DeMo are in, I downgrade my prediction to a 3-2 win haha

Tippet should be making changes either way though, no? I imagine Stone might see some playing time. Who can we sub in up front?

ParisSaintGermain 10-08-2013 03:54 PM

Ah a game at the Islanders and that camera that is not quite centrally positioned to film the action. Almost being tipsy without any alcohol consumption.
