I really hate to contribute to the negative ****show, but there's no hope right now.:cry::cry:

Flowah 11-16-2013 08:52 PM

your title took about the same amount of work and passion as our shootout attempts.

I think the Wings are trying to see if they can get more points in OT/SO losses than by wins.

The Zermanator 11-16-2013 08:52 PM

Tick tock, Kenny...

hyduK 11-16-2013 08:53 PM

what a joke.

Claypool 11-16-2013 08:53 PM

Well, I say considering it was a back-to-back they're lucky to get a point.

ricky0034 11-16-2013 08:54 PM

the Wings just set a record for most consecutive games with a OT/SO loss

ProPAIN 11-16-2013 08:54 PM

**** it. I'm watching the Griffins until this team pulls their **** together.

At least Daniel "the Maniel" DeKeyser got another point.

A loser point is one more than a loss, but one less than a win. If the Wings end up missing the playoffs by 1-5 points, they can look at losses like this.

Cursed Lemon 11-16-2013 08:56 PM

Hahahahahahahahahaha

crashman 11-16-2013 08:56 PM

If monster didn't suck it up, they would have won this game even though they looked gassed in the 3rd.

ProPAIN 11-16-2013 08:56 PM

Someone needs to walk up to Holland/Babcock/whoever the ****, shove a mic in their face and ask them: "how are these moves (Quincey, Sammy, Cleary, hell even Bert) working out for ya?"

Does that count as an accomplishment?:shakehead

ShanahanMan 11-16-2013 08:57 PM

We are lucky to even get a point. They doubled the shots on us and we got a weak goal on our 3rd shot of the period.

This team is done.

Huh? The Islanders feed said the Oilers did it in 2003-2004.

Well, maybe that was just going to OT 5 times in a row. Maybe they actually won some of their OT games.

Chance on Chance 11-16-2013 08:58 PM

Mason Raymond with another goal. He was signed for 1 million around the same time as Cleary and has 14 points and is pretty fast. Another missed chance

I was just going off of pnep's post from here:

http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/sh...17&postcount=5

they are usually pretty great with the stat stuff

edit:

yeah that Oilers team had a stretch of 7 OT games in a row but it was L,W,T,W,T,L,L

I think it was tied for consecutive games in extra time, not necessarily losses. They still had ties back then.

Vladdy84 11-16-2013 08:59 PM

FWIW, this team will be A LOT better when Weiss, Alfie and Nyquist are in the lineup. However, I'm starting to truly doubt Nyquist gets a chance. Thanks Babs and Ken!
