Lucky number 7!!!!!

Jaster heard a rumor the Wings might win another game by December 14.

Cursed Lemon 11-19-2013 09:07 PM

Net empty.

Cleary on the ice.

I am so sick of this.

Jurky 11-19-2013 09:07 PM

Capping a 7 game losing streak with a shutout at the hands of the Rinne-less Preds

What sounds better #Playbad4Ekblad or #TankhardforReinhart?

tfong 11-19-2013 09:09 PM

This was such a terrible game to watch.

The Zermanator 11-19-2013 09:09 PM

Booooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

That's all I got.

That boo isn't long enough.

Big Poppa Puck 11-19-2013 09:11 PM

ahahahahahahahahaha

I love how useful players (Tootoo and Eaves) get waived, but Cleary and Samuelsson continue to play. (Yes I understand waiving Sammy saves us practically nothing.)

Hahahahahaha ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ classic.

RedMenace 11-19-2013 09:11 PM

Everyone looked absolutely mediocre. The fact that Smith and Quincey weren't terribad and they STILL lost speaks volumes.

I've given Tick Tock the benefit of the doubt up to this point; time to trim the fat, Kenny. Samuelsson and Cleary, for starters, have GOT to go. Hell, at least Eaves and Toots bring something to the table.

WingedWheel1987 11-19-2013 09:11 PM

Just win on January 1st. It's gonna be our Stanley Cup.

KJoe88 11-19-2013 09:12 PM

I might not watch for a while. I'm a Red Wing supporter, but right now the team isn't exciting. It would (could have been) be with the right roster moves.

I feel bad for the players who are worthy of being on this team, though.

theYman 11-19-2013 09:12 PM

Gunnin for the record boys! We're already half way there.

Longest Losing Streak
Overall: 17 games, by 1974–75 Washington Capitals and 1992–1993 San Jose Sharks
Home: 14 games, by 2003–04 Pittsburgh Penguins
Away: 38 games, by 1992–93 Ottawa Senators

The Zermanator 11-19-2013 09:12 PM

We need to get a gang of Detroit area HF'ers to assemble outside of Holland's house and boo like Christmas carolers.

Chillwavin 11-19-2013 09:12 PM

Hey guys, so I've been a pretty big Holland apologist but looking at this team now is just
:facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm::facepalm: :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:

Remember how good we were last year? The youth movement was on! Fil, Brunner, Nyquist, Tatar, Dekeyser taking us a game from the WCF. Ahh the memories... Alas it twas too good to be true...

detredWINgs 11-19-2013 09:12 PM

We've played exclusively average teams in this 7 game span, many with key injuries themselves. And we aren't winning games.

I think its safe to say we're one of those average teams.

Eaves does not bring anything dynamic to the table.

I'm sorry but what the hell?

Cleary takes a monumentally stupid high sticking penalty and kills any chance of coming back in the game. And he gets rewarded by being out for the extra man? What? I would literally rather have any other player on the team out there instead of him. Is it the amazing offense that he generates?

SERIOUSLY. JUST EXPLAIN YOUR LOGIC TO ME, BABCOCK.

Point Shot 11-19-2013 09:15 PM

Kenny and Babs gotta go.

And don't get me wrong, Holland is not the only culprit here:

Don't pout, Mike. You're a great coach and all, but your time with Detroit has passed.

We made the playoffs on the last day of the season.

Their net empty= Bad. Cleary can get a point he doesn't deserve.

Our net empty= Good. Cleary might get a minus!

Oh, you thought we could actually score 2 goals and come back? ;)

Nothing new. Same thing would happen last year. But heaven forbid a player like Tatar or anyone else takes a penalty...

I'm done with Andersson. Useless. Need Weiss and Alfie back. Holland has to find a way to unload the garbage on this team. Be creative :help:

Frk It 11-19-2013 09:18 PM

There's no way we even get close to a lottery pick. The eastern conference is a joke.
