"San Jose is now outscoring the opposition 36-13 in the first 20 minutes of games this year. That +23 differential is more than double any other team in the NHL, as the Los Angeles Kings are second with a +11."

Swiss Army Pavelski 11-30-2013 02:03 AM

We must win this for mother Russia!

3-1 Sharks
Kennedy, Marleau, and Hertl
Perry

Pinkfloyd 11-30-2013 02:23 AM

Hmm...looks like someone didn't show up for this game. Guess the Sharks won't either...oh well, can't break my word.

Sharks win 5-2

Hertl, Couture, Havlat, Desjardins, and Boyle

Perry and Getzlaf

kducks 11-30-2013 02:49 AM

Just a note, Teemu won't play this game as he played yesterday. BB has said he will sitting him in the one of the back to back games all year. Hiller should start since Freddie was up yesterday.

I'm very interested in how the match-ups will unfold. Obviously Couture's line will go against Getzlaf's (although I would perhaps rather have Jumbo facing him), but I'm not sure who will get Perrault and who will get Koivu. The Koivu line is better (particularly if the Perrault line doesn't have Selanne), but it's also the "3rd" line. I'd put Jumbo there due to size. Pavelski should handle Perrault.

Should be a tough match. Getz and Perry are at the top of their game.

Hope the drive to Vegas is fast enough so that I get there by 7:30, if not sooner. Oh, and another win would be cool.

Sharks 4-2
Burns, Pavelski, Marleau, Wingels
Fairy, Paul-Mary

I'd match pavs to the koivu line. Perrault is shifty, and him and silfverberg really enhance each other's play.

Jumbo can take the Perrault line, they seem to be employing him in an offensive role, so I'd force him to defend jumbo and burns.

Snog
5-2 Sharks
Hertl, Burns, Pavelski, Wingels, Vlasic
Perry x2

SJSharks39 11-30-2013 12:31 PM

All I want is either the Sharks win with Niemi getting a shutout or a Sharks win with Perry and Penner scoring. If either of those happen I win my Fantasy matchup against my dad and that's a must!
5-2 SJS
SanJose: Hertl, Burns, Wingels, Marleau, Couture
Anaheim: Penner, Perry

First actual confirmation of this

Niemi first goalie off this morning. No surprise there

Clowe Me 11-30-2013 12:42 PM

I want to see some Perry shenanigans to make up for the lack of hatred yesterday.

Love me some Sharks/Ducks scrums/scraps.

Kitten Mittons 11-30-2013 12:43 PM

That non-capitalized "a" at the end is killing me.

We don't play till the 3rd and Toronto is sitting at 25 s/60. Seems like a better game for stalock. Niemi would have 5 days off before his next start.

It's not about when the next day off or the next game is. It's about that he played yesterday. Chances of him being as effective as a normal start aren't very good.
