Rank Your 2013 Draft Prospects

PricerStopDaPuck 11-30-2013 03:09 PM

crazyaces** 11-30-2013 03:11 PM

2. Mattias Janmark Nylen
3. Zach Nastasiuk
4. Tyler Bertuzzi
5. Marc McNulty
6. Mitch Wheaton

Verhaege seems like a very shrewd pick right now ...

Why do you McCarron ranked 6th?

PricerStopDaPuck 11-30-2013 03:18 PM

Put gregoire behind mccarron.. Or behind crisp I don't know the two are very close imo

It's nothing against him the others I'm just big fans of... I have a man crush on Lehkonen and delarose fucale has been pretty good although sometimes has a bad game and andrighetto is having a very good rookie year in the AHL and reway is tearing the Q up.

bossram 11-30-2013 03:23 PM

1. Horvat

PricerStopDaPuck 11-30-2013 03:24 PM

Also Lehkonen has been very good almost dominant playing against his own age group in tournaments

Very curious to see the Calgary flames list...

couture23 11-30-2013 03:49 PM

I don't think I could change the Sabres list at all.

Risto still has to be number one, he looked more NHL ready, has 2 pro seasons under his belt, is doing outstanding in the AHL and was the higher regarded player by the franchise.

Just my impressions so far, I thought he was more impressive than Risto in many ways. They're interchangeable same with Bailey and Hurley for me.

If Chase continues to play the way he has been he'll pass Roy by the end of the year.

Ducks

1. Shea Theodore
2. Nick Sorensen
3. Grant Besse
4. Miro Aaltonen
5. Keaton Thompson

Although Anaheim did not make very many selections, I believe they're all excellent picks but I admit that I know very little of Thompson. Aaltonen is one to keep your eyes on. I think he'll be a really excellent late round pick when all's said and done.

Andrighetto and Reway could be steals some day, I'm a fan of Reway too so I guess I am a little biased but either way.

Just ranking their first round I'd go with
Monahan
Klimchuk
Poirier

All great players regardless of rank.

After McNulty it's pretty much a crapshoot.

I know you said it was a crapshoot but I'm curious to hear your reasoning on having Pope last, especially behind Melen.

Personally I'd go
1) Mantha
2) Janmark
2) Nastasiuk
3) Bertuzzi
4) Pope
5) Mcnulty
6) Wheaton
7) Melen

With Nasty and Janmark tied for 2nd and Pope/Mcnulty interchangeable.
