NEWS & NOTES

QUOTES TO NOTE

I was just faking the wide pull and hoping he'd bite on the backhand and hopefully there'd be something open there.
- Rick Nash

I liked how I ended up down on the goal line. We were moving all over the place and making plays. That kind of confuses teams.
Brassard made a good job freezing the goalie giving it down to me. I had a good chance to try and roof one there.
- Brad Richards

I thought we had a good performance. We were in good shape after the second period.
We had some quality chances in the second that could've, I don't want to say put the game away, but might've given us a bit more room there.
There were some pressure moments in the game and our big guys came up big.
- Alain Vigneault

Hopefully Miller plays on the third line and Poo doesn't play.

BlessThisMess513 12-07-2013 07:16 AM

One thing I know for sure that I'd bet my future son's mortgage on is that Reid Boucher will score tonight.

Stasis 12-07-2013 07:29 AM

I've been up all night studying for a math final. I'll be back home around 4pm and I'm gonna stay awake until 10:00 or so to catch this full game rather than getting much needed rest to study for another math exam on Monday.

What's my point? They better *** play hard. Don't need a win (would love one...) but I want a full 60 minutes of compete. I'm sacrificing for this one, boys!

Edit: This is also my 777th post. So, you know.

Let's go Rangers! I'm calling 3 points for Zucc. Richards assist x2 and a goal.

Doublr down on MDZ being on the ice?

Lindberg Cheese 12-07-2013 07:37 AM

How can we not abuse this defense? My favorite peanut butter entrepreneur is doing well.

Bucsboy30 12-07-2013 07:41 AM

That Devil lineup is ugly...wait until Jagr slows down in the second half, they will drop like a rock.

silverfish 12-07-2013 07:44 AM

Marty's last ever game at MSG? Let's give him a prime set off.

MAAAARRRRTYYYYYY

LGR

McDonagh 12-07-2013 07:50 AM

Why the 7:30 start?

well it wont be his 1st NHL point but his first NHL goal :shakehead so Miller got called up to be scratched?? i bet someone is either sitting or getting dealt..

Tim Sestito will also get his 1st NHL goal tonight

Tom Sesitio is on the Canucks not Devils

HeaveHo94 12-07-2013 08:01 AM

Win two in a row please...

Antithesis 12-07-2013 08:07 AM

I envision a good game for Kreider today.

Idlerlee 12-07-2013 08:19 AM

This will be a glorious night for Rangers hockey

Killem Dafoe 12-07-2013 08:23 AM

Win?

Or is 2 games over .500 too much to ask?

Bullseyes 12-07-2013 08:41 AM

Win.

I'm sick of them being .500.

I'm not Jared funny. But I'm getting there.

7-0-2 in the next 9. The board turns into SC mode.

I was thinking the same thing. I prefer the later start on the weekends.

Kokoschka 12-07-2013 08:55 AM

I hope we do this strange thing many other teams are doing. You know, the one where you win 2 consecutive games.

Beat the Devils. LGR!

SixGoalieSystem 12-07-2013 09:19 AM

If they call up Miller to be a healthy scratch and keep playing poo and pyatt, I'll be enraged.

Rich-Brass-Zucc & Hagelin-Miller-Callahan please.

Ail 12-07-2013 09:20 AM

Back to .500 tonight. Nice and even.

Three - two Devils all 3 goals for them are bad bounces that are blamed on Girardi/Hank/MDZ.
