I believe we're on HNIC tonight. Hopefully the crowd will be loud. Last game I can really watch before I go back to college.

Yup. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm getting this game or the MTL/CHI one which is also on HNIC. It's been a while since I've seen a preds game on TV rather than a computer screen. :yo:

Can someone explain our lines to me? I am so confused as to why we don't use the typical 1st-2nd-3rd-4th format and instead randomly throw people together.

Kamikazepants 01-11-2014 04:40 PM

if those are the lines...... lawd help us

PFL615 01-11-2014 04:58 PM

You don't like those lines. Just wait until one has some success

NoNecksCurse 01-11-2014 05:10 PM

Ugly ... but the team scored three goals in each of the last two games. 3+ scored in five of the past seven by the Preds.

id rather get shutout than lose a game at home when leading by two. we suck offensively, defensively and then goaltending as well.

Keeping the opposition to two or less is a good indicator if we'll win lately ... 5 of the last 6 times it resulted in a W. Sadly, we've only done that 6 times since Thanksgiving (4x by Hutton, winning 3 .... twice by Maz, both wins). Scoring three or more does little good when we keep giving up at least three (14 of the last 20 with 3+ allowed).

OmniSens 01-11-2014 06:16 PM

Good luck Preds :)

Let the Senapreds connection go on!

Top 6 Spaling 01-11-2014 06:20 PM

Karlsson is just so fast. Unreal.

Top 6 Spaling 01-11-2014 06:34 PM

A team having both Lehner and Anderson, after trading Bishop, is crazy.

MrMariusz 01-11-2014 06:36 PM

Penalty shot!!

Top 6 Spaling 01-11-2014 06:36 PM

Penalty shot!!!

Wow he's fast. If only he could do other things too.

MrMariusz 01-11-2014 06:36 PM

But then again... we suck at those.

Top 6 Spaling 01-11-2014 06:37 PM

Great save by Anderson. All Stalberg can do is skate fast, but man can he do that.

INDhockeyfan 01-11-2014 06:39 PM

If Stalberg could finish he'd be a great.

It wasn't long ago that we just kept plugging in goalies one after another ... Vokoun, Mason, Ellis, Rinne, Lindback. Depending how things go over the next couple years it's Rinne, Mazanec, Hellberg, Saros.

True, but we only have one NHL goalie right now. And really, Ellis, Mason, and Lindback have never been more than backups. All of Bishop, Anderson, and Lehner are starting material.
