Reebok Premier Jersey Sizing

I'm 6'0 about 160-170 pounds and want to get a jersey I can play in with shoulder pads and elbow pads. Normally I'd get an XL, but when I wear a jersey without pads, the medium fits fine and I swim in a large. Reebok's sizing is crazy! Unfortunately can't try a jersey on with my pads on, so do you guys think I should get a large or XL for playing in with equipment?

I tend to be cautious with things like this, and always go for what I know will work.

I'm about 6'1"(maybe a bit taller) and weight about 205. I'm what I consider a slimmer 205 lbs(if there is such a thing). A size large Reebok Premier Jersey fits just about fine for hanging out.

However, its too tight for me with shoulders, and elbow pads on. Its doable. but there isn't much room.

I haven't bought one to practice or play in, but if I were- it would be XL.
My practice and league jerseys are all XL as well.

I have a 2xl my wife got me for xmas 2 years ago and I could wear goalie pads under it. I just got a large and I look like a mutant but it actually fits ok length wise but I am too thick. That said get an Xl I am 5'7" and right about 190lbs.
