Not thrilled this needed a second thread this season. Happy that we are still winning though.

TwoPadStack 01-16-2014 12:09 PM

Dater was probably confusing 5'11", left-handed Karl Stollery with Erik Johnson.

Understandable.

RockLobster 01-16-2014 12:11 PM

So, as an update, Stastny, Tanguay, Parenteau and EJ are all practicing or skating today, is that correct?

The only thing for certain is that the Denver Post beat writers are full on ********.

EJ doesn't know what he is talking about. Who is his source anyways? :sarcasm:

Stastny out again. Blah. Need to call someone up eventually.

Yep, Stastny out. JSG in as Varly's back-up!

He's only d2d, gives Mack a chance to play as a center on the top lines for a little bit.

Not true, Sacko always 'eld The 'unwick in 'igh regard.

Per Moser, Sarich out indefinitely.

PAP and Tanguay getting much closer.

henchman24 01-16-2014 12:38 PM

If I had one criticism for Roy it would be that he seems to refuse to call anybody up from Lake Erie and runs a short roster. Now this might be coming from the top since we are stashing 2 1 way contracts in Lake Erie, but it is damn frustrating when we have to run a lineup with 11F because Roy/management won't call anybody up.

It's not like we're losing.

That signals a herniated disc to me.

404 frustration not found

There isn't anyone healthy or good enough to call up

At this moment anyway... I am not up in arms about it, but instead of playing Stollery as a #7D it would be nice to have a full 4th line with somebody from Lake Erie up here. Brings more balance.

Part of the problem is icing a full team at Erie. I'm sure if they were healthy, it would be easier to call guys up.

Not true. Agozzino is healthy and played well. He is pesty enough for 4th line duties. Carey could play on the 4th line and is healthy. Sgarbossa would be far from ideal for that role, but is healthy now.

They have signed a number of guys to PTOs now and they called up a bunch from Denver. They can field a whole team right now. It isn't a good team by any means, but a team.

That doesn't sound good. Or I should say, that sounds great!
