Beaulieu recalled again

Arpon just tweeted it

Peteux 01-19-2014 04:22 PM

Why was he sent down? Did they change their mind or there's a reason?

Gary320 01-19-2014 04:23 PM

Guessing it's a Salary cap issue again.

ArtPeur 01-19-2014 04:29 PM

Wasn't that the reason they kept sending him/calling him back every few days before? I guess its that since they aren't playing till Friday and they didnt play today.

AcadiaAxeMan 01-19-2014 04:39 PM

Injury, or my guess, a trade is imminent ~ yah, right! Pathetic play lately and it's hard to watch management "mismanage" ...... Bourque needs to go - Boullion is terrible - Murray is immobile - Eller on the wing?? WTF

sheed36 01-19-2014 04:45 PM

Please let it be because Bouillon is gonna retire tomorrow. :)

BLONG7 01-19-2014 04:46 PM

Weird...glad for the kid, but weird...:help:

Haaabs 01-19-2014 04:47 PM

Our next game is on Wednesday. Plenty of time to send him back down and call him back up again.

After he hears MT is fired...;)

NobleSix 01-19-2014 04:48 PM

Good.

Sent down for less than 24 hours? Hmmm... Odd.

Chris Cutter 01-19-2014 04:50 PM

But..but...but Bergevin has no clue what he's doing???

As other are saying, salary cap reasons. I imagine the Habs didn't practice today, so they could have taken him off the roster. Call him up after 5PM and he doesn't count towards the cap for today.

poetryinmotion 01-19-2014 04:53 PM

He needs to stay up. The habs current offensive (and defensive..) woes should allow him to.

Like Bergevin but its time for him to do something, Montreal's cupboard is bare a trade could spark some needed enthusiasm in the team.

Jrham15 01-19-2014 04:58 PM

What the **** was the point in sending him back down?

Jamie Thomas 01-19-2014 05:03 PM

Maybe somebody told Bergevin that Beaulieu looked better than the d-men he signed this summer...or he reads HF.

To save dollars on the salary cap.

Relax guys, its not like the GM is giving Beaulieu a huge speech about how he has to send him down for the foreseeable future and then surprising him with a callup again..

WeThreeKings 01-19-2014 05:12 PM

The issue is two forwards weren't called up..

Why the hell is Parros playing?

If he wanted to save dollars on the salary cap, could he not have recalled Beaulieu on Tuesday?

He has to practice with the team before the game.
