Questions about the waiver draft
 
1. If you claim a goaltender, do you have to make another goaltender available, or can any player be made available?

2. Why the hell weren't the contracts of Yashin, Jagr, etc. made available? Is there a good reason that isn't obvious? If I was the Isles, and I thank god that I am not, I would be praying like hell that someone would take Yashin off my hands.

1. Yes if you protected 2 to begin with, cannot go over max of 18 & 2.

2. Who knows, I was thinking the same thing about some of the Rangers and their contracts.
