Now if we only gave him a chance in our top 6. I believe he's been better than both Tinordi and Beaulieu this past season.

Great job Bergy!!!

For the 1000000th times, does he need to pass through waiver next year?

AmeriHab 05-08-2014 12:40 PM

Next year our bullion/weaver replacement?

I think he has another year before having to pass waivers.

Good depth D-men, 6'2", 222 lbs.
Could become a replacement for Weaver.

For now, we have Pateryn, Nygren, Dietz, Didier and Thrower as RHD.

Jeffrey 05-08-2014 12:49 PM

He can pass through waiver next year but it would be nice to give him some games at the NHL level at one point...

Braun 05-08-2014 12:50 PM

I saw Dietz play I liked what I saw. Pateryn too.

compile 05-08-2014 12:50 PM

I think he's resigned to replace someone...

CanadienShark 05-08-2014 12:52 PM

No complaints here. I see him with the big club within 2 years.

I would bring Weaver back. Let Bouillon and Murray move on. Assuming you can extend him at 1-2 years 1-2 mil cap hit.

Thrower is not signed, if he isn't my June 1st he goes back into the draft I believe.

Crimson Skorpion 05-08-2014 01:09 PM

Hopefully he's in next year and Bou-Bou is out.

EveryDay 05-08-2014 01:17 PM

Habs next year:

Subban
Markov---PLEASE
Gorges
Emelin
Weaver---PLEASE
Tinordi
Beaulieu

Hamilton:

Pateryn
Bennett
Ellis
Dietz
Drewiske
Thrower---PLEASE
Chouinard--???

The only question mark is NYGREN. I don't want to lose that guy at all......

Both of them are solid prospects. They probably will never be stars but they could become very reliable #4-#6 defensemen. Plus Dietz has untapped offensive potential imho

SO happy to hear this, i keep thinkin he never gets a fair shot at the habs yet is playing great in the AHL with a great frame to boot

would of been upset if we lost him for nothing, i think he could servicable in the neeeaar near future, as long as marc stops signing all these freaking vets on D and lets a kid have a SHOT for cryin out loud

Rapala 05-08-2014 05:26 PM

Emelin gonna play lefty emelin gonna play lefty

Blind Gardien 05-08-2014 05:34 PM

Him and Drewiske should vie for 1st callup.
