Was there 'future considerations' attached to the Hasek return?

I know we received Kozlov + 1st, but for some reason I'm recalling future considerations as well. If so, were they ever fulfilled?

If this is a dumb question, may this thread die in peace.

The future considerations were initially released as being another draft pick conditional on the Wings finish in Hasek's second year in Detroit, specifially 02-03. Since he didn't play, there was nothing else sent to Buffalo.

Yeah he retired for one year, (the year that would have gotten Buffalo another 1st round pick or maybe it was a 2nd) then came back the year after. Fishy aint it...

i could have sworn the consideration was pavel datsyuk
that will of course remain unsubstantiated...

IMO, this was the biggest mistake, on Regier's part, in the whole trade; not providing a condition in case Hasek retired after one year.

Or maybe he just never expected Hasek to retire for an entire year.
