Great job, Albi. It's nice having all the links in one place.

Hmmm...if I'm reading his stats right, looks like Lehoux's having a good ol' time in Switzerland. 7 points in 7 games (5 goals). Not too shabby.

Kick 10-12-2005 07:04 PM

Hey Albi, you'll need to update Lehoux's address:

He is now with EHC Basel

Here is a link to some photos from last night's Monarchs game against the Norfolk Admirals.

He's undergoing medical testing:

All-star center Yanick Lehoux is having myriad medical tests for a yet undetermined illness. Big rookie winger Lauri Tukonen is carefully returning from a shoulder injury and will be away at the World Junior Championships for two weeks. Policeman Ryan Flinn is recuperating with the LA Kings from having his head slammed to the ice in an NHL fight. And the Kings have further plucked the Monarchs’ all-purpose energizers Jeff Giuliano and Petr Kanko.

“Yanick hasn’t been feeling very well and we’re waiting for test results to come back,” said Hughes. “On a positive side Yanick is going to be a very important piece of to our puzzle. As this thing moves forward and if we’re lucky enough to do anything in the playoffs, Yanick is going to be very important.

“But right now his body doesn’t feel the way it needs to. His body doesn’t feel right. He feels lethargic and somewhat fatigued,” Hughes said.

Has he been "under the weather" since his return? Possibly mono or some other viral infection? Here's to hoping that Lehoux returns to good health soon.
