Mark Messier

Curious...........

Do any of you know if Messier is going to play back-to-back games this season?

Is Mess playing tonight? Future back-to-backs?

I have never heard that he would not play back to back games. If he is not hurt he will most likely be in.

He played under 13 minutes last night and his line actually looked like it had a clue of what its role was. I don't see any reason to assume that Messier will be too tired to play tonight--especially since there isn't another game until Thursday's home opener. It's only the 2nd game of the season.

There's also the fact that we don't have a 5th center on the roster unless you want to bump Lundmark down to the 4th line. Barnaby, LaCouture, Simon, Siklenka, and Keefe all play wing pretty much exclusively.
