Who is the best King forward?

Frolov? Demitra? Comrie? Lucky Luc?

We don't have Comrie, we have Conroy. I would go with either Frolov or Demitra. It's tough.

Haik 11-27-2005 05:14 PM

Sean Avery

kingsfan25 11-27-2005 05:21 PM

Right now, Demitra. From my perspective, he's the only one with the offensive skill to carry the team on his back when the rest are underperforming. Frolov is close, but not there yet.

Gary Shuchuk hands down

Demitra & Frolov.

johnjm22 11-27-2005 06:47 PM

When Frolov is playing well I think he is easily the best.

Id say Nedved hands down.

The answer is, and will always be, Kyosti Karjalainen.

Avery's the only player on this squad whose heart and tenacity comes close to matching the mythical Phil "Psycho" Sykes.

Frolov is better than Demitra, and has more impact on the game in each of the three zones.

Personally, I'm puzzled by Demitra. The guy can play 58 crappy, invisible minutes, and then explode on a couple of shifts to put up a multiple-point night. For proof, check out the recent PP. When Demitra stands at the half-boards and tries to force passes through instead of making simple safe plays, the PP sucks. When he makes up his mind to take the puck to the middle, the PP clicks. I question his decision making more than his effort, but dammit, he's an enigma.

Good comments concerning Demitra . I think it's the European "mindset". They are more focused on passing & setting up other players. When Pav's does go to the net, or take the shot, good things happen more often than not.

Frolov

DudeCar 11-27-2005 08:22 PM

Frolov...he has done nothing but "wow" me with his incredible play on special teams.

Face Wash 11-27-2005 08:54 PM

nah... clearly it's Syl Apps Jr.

gerhart 11-27-2005 09:04 PM

Afro, Demitra, Conroy. I can't pick one.

Avery gets strong consideration as well.

King'sPawn 11-27-2005 09:18 PM

Frolov... as said before, Demitra can be invisible for stretches of the game before suddenly exploding. Frolov is always doing something out there.

Skebo 11-27-2005 09:28 PM

I would have to say Frolov. Demitra and Conroy are doing great things, as well, but Frolov can take over for whole shifts and drive the opponent completely nuts.

On the next tier I would pick Belanger over Avery.

Vitali Yachmanev is cleary the best Kings forward.

TubbyTerrion* 11-27-2005 10:43 PM

The most forward King ever was defenseman Dave Hutchison, who spent time on IR after getting knifed by a Vancouver prostitute on a street corner during one of the team's road trips. That's pretty forward, don't you think?

Currently...We are so heavy on talent IMO. Fro, Conroy, Demitra.

I wish I could say the same about defense.
