I wondered, so I looked it up: Parse is supposedly a junior in college right now. That leaves probably two years at most until we see him on the Monarchs (or Kings)... unless he pulls a Tambellini and skips his final year of college (which I don't approve of, but it's his decision).

Here is a reply from Oilers Chick about Scott;

"Scott Parse is an absolutely wonderful player to watch. It's a shame that more people aren't talking about him because I think he could have a shot at the NHL down the road. He is blessed with tremendously great hands, whether it's shooting or passing. He possesses great hand-eye coordination, which IMO is one of his greatest attributes. He's a pretty darn good skater as well. Scott is also player who works tirelessly and is probably one of most unselfish players in college hockey today."
