Perezhogin is apparently having a really good game. He's on the first line with Gratton I believe. The commentators are speaking really well of him.

He's had a few good shots on goal so far, and I think he was on the ice for Gratton's goal. I turned it on just as Gratton scored.

What's Svitov doing with Hamilton?

windycity 10-13-2003 12:44 PM

BTW, I see Gordie Dwyer is picking up some extra cash reffing the game! :p

because TB doesn't have their own farm team they were sending a few of their prospects to play with the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Ok Thanks. I figured something like that but hadn't heard. I actually thought that Hamilton was to be Habs prospects only. Makes it interesting as coach, do you sacrifice a Hab prospects playing time if the TB player is better? Or do the teams have some kind of agreement or is it good faith only?

Tampa Bay has 4 guarenteed spots on the Hamilton roster and the agreement was that if the Bolts wanted those spots, they needed to send their 4 best prospects to Hamilton. They sent Eero Somervuori, Alex Svitov, Andreas Homlqvist and Jimmie Olvestad.

The main goal of a hockey club is winning, Jarvis will simply play the best player available and since the Bolts are sending their best prospects, they will all play regularly on the lineup while the less talented/developed habs prospect will be in the stands. However, look forward to see Svitov/Olvestad/Homlqvist/Somervuori being called during the season.

Gratton 2 (Balej, Thinel) Balej has 2 pts, and 6 shots on goal. Perezhoign and Ferland had 3 shots each.
