Man Games Lost to injury

Has anyone figured out how many games lost to injury the Flyers have accumulated? They must be on pace to rival the all time greats, like those Kings from the previous season.

For that to happen 2/3 of your top line has to miss the entire season the other 1/3 miss about 65% of the season and then have players drop like flies every other game

No they dont, they just have to have anyone out for it to count as a man game lost, it doesnt matter what line they are on to break the record. :propeller

Ready, Jones, and Meyer's injuries all technically counted since they were listed as being on the Flyers (Ready and Meyer from the preseason). Did Jones get injured in one of his 2 games up here or when he went back down?

Well, we have the last part of that down pat, with players getting groin pulls every other game.

Its called making a funny. Perhaps you didnt catch that. But for them to seriously think about challenging the record thats what would have to happen

yea thats what i heard. I wonder what the record is. I know Tampa has the record for the fewest last season.

Now we know what those future considerations were in the Roenick deal; the ridiculously huge injury bug. Don't know why Clarke would take that for Roenick, should've held out for more. But when you have to sign Forsberg quickly, I guess you take what you can get.

Is that counting Allison + Deadmarsh who both were out for the season?

Yes... Although I have no proof at this time, I'm quite certain.

The Canadiens had a pretty bad year, either last season or the year before. :dunno:

Yes so they could account and replace those players before the season started so they werent really man games lost.

The Flyers cannot replace those players before the season started because obviosuly they werent injured then and cannot replace them now because of the cap.

They are in a far worse position than LA ever were if this keeps up.

Whining about injuries is as old as the NHL. Leafs drop all the time.

The ultimate irony of a Leafs fan complaining about whining. :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

What next, Domi telling us we have an ugly team?
