Martin Houle
I loved this pick in 2004. He was probably the best goalie in all Canadian Juniors that year...but everyone wrote him off because he's only about 5'10. But damn, all this guy does is stop the puck. After dominating in junior hockey, he has clearly been the phantoms best goalie outplaying both Storr and the more highly regarded Beauchemin. He's the only goalie on the team with a winning record..he has by far the best GAA and S%. At some point this guy is going to start getting some respect.

I think his biggest problem is that the NHL is now all about the 6'3 butterfly goalie...Houle is a 5'10 standup goalie....but jeez..results are results...as long as keeps stopping the puck you gotta give him his due.

He's played really well for the Phantoms. There's definitely some potential there that the Flyers should be looking in to. Too bad the Phantoms are terrible this season, though.
