Last season's game was surprisingly close. We were lucky scoring with around a minute left.

Hobey Baker 12-13-2005 07:24 AM

Nitty goes again I presume?

WOO HOO! It's on like Donkey Kong!

I can't wait for this one. :propeller

donelikedinner 12-13-2005 09:09 AM

wishful thinking.....carter, richards, eager: 1 goal each

paxtang 12-13-2005 09:21 AM

Can someone explain to me why the hell Chouinard got called up?

Besides the fact that he's sucked for the Phantoms (IMO probably their worst player so far), but to bring him up to fill Brashear's spot? What's the point of that?

greatwhite101* 12-13-2005 09:25 AM

Why play Esche??? Rest this guy.. lol

I was really looking forward to see Nitty

Carter Richards and Umberger better produce in this game.

Ben Eager - Eric Chouinard - Branko Radivojevic.

We'll call it the "Fat Chick" line. They work hard, but they just can't score.

It was either that or:
Kapanen - Handzus - Radio
Eager - Richards - Chouinard

Sweet Mother of god! That is the sexiest GDT I've ever seen.

Bravo.

Yes, our GDTs want to be like your GDTs when they grow up :handclap:

Seriously though, best of luck tonight. Even though I am a Jackets fan now, I grew up in Lansdale as a die hard Flyers fan, so it is always great to see them play.

PubOFH 12-13-2005 12:23 PM

Somebody has a LOT of time on their hands!!! Good GDT....even from a CBJ fans prospective.

Synthetic 12-13-2005 12:38 PM

Ugh. Our defense after the Hatcher and Johnsson is looking particukarly Swiss-cheesey. This could be a shootout.

Get used to it! Still a few weeks with Pitkanen!

Maybe they can cram a couple of the Jackets' defensemen into equipment bags and smuggle them onto the plane.

GKJ 12-13-2005 02:28 PM

The Blue Jackets are just about as bad as we are with the injuries. No Nash, No Klesla, no Brule.

Goaltending has been shoddy for the Blue Jackets, and with the situation on defense, I expect a high scoring game. Give me 7-4 Flyers.

No Malhotra or Picard either.

Philly should win, but the Jackets almost always play Eastern Conference teams tough and I think will put up a fight tonight.
I'm not venturing a guess other than that I think it'll be a lively, entertaining game.

Nacho 12-13-2005 02:49 PM

I'm well aware of that, but they were not as vital parts to the team as the 3 guys I mentioned

I agree, it's weird to see him already between the pipes... I tought he would come back only next week against a week team like St-Louis. I hope for you this rush won't lead to a new groin injury for Esche!

Synthetic 12-13-2005 03:14 PM

Hopefully Esche won't be rusty, although I can see him giving up 4 tonight. With us winning 6-4 of course, last one on an EN goal.
