Will Forsberg resign with the Flyers?

Since he only signed a 2 year deal do you think he will resign? Should the Flyersstart talking to him know about an extension?

No, too early to tell what the cap might do (move up or down) and what kinda of situation we will be in with Gagne, Johnsson, and other guys that are in need of raises.

No extensions allowed other than in the Flyers year of the contract, so they can't talk to him until next season anyway.

after the 2 years with the Flyers i think he will go back to Sweden again.

I don't think it benefits anybody to sign an extension now even if they could (as reported here).

Bettman is saying the salary cap might go up a couple millions dollars as soon as next year, but still, it is WAYYYY too early to even talk about an extension.

Don't think so, he didn't really like the dirty and rough play of the SEL last season...

Colorado Avalanche 12-17-2005 06:40 PM

He will be back.. in Denver, Colorado! :handclap:

MountainHawk 12-17-2005 06:42 PM

.... when the Flyers play at the Northwest, I agree.

Jester 12-17-2005 08:48 PM

they'll look at it next year i assume. this team is going to be going through a transition over the next couple of years, so it really hard to say what we're going to do.
