Tie Domi being Shopped?
 

I read on the Maple Leafs forum that according to 2 radio stations one being MOJO, GM's around the league are reporting the leafs shopping Domi around for a defenseman. The leafs GM denies this however but a team like the sabres might want to look into this to toughen up especially with the surplus of defenseman we have, maybe trading fitzpatrick for domi?

I doubt Quinn would trade Domi in the division. Especially if it would only net him Fitzy.

Besides, I doubt TG is going to OK an addition of over $1 million in payroll to add Domi.

i see domi being the kind of player that would be ticked if he got traded to the sabres and just wouldn't be as good as a result of it

and it just wouldn't seem right having him on the sabres
it'll be like jeter on the red sox

While we do need more toughness, I don't think we need it from an expensive, over the hill Domi. A tough defenceman would be much more useful.

Oh God, Domi as a Sabre. Just the thought of it makes me cringe.

That's almost as bad as Eric Lindros a Sabre, or something.
