good news!(not new but new to me)

i was looking through the 2006 list of UFA in the trade forum and look at this:

Philadelphia Flyers

Chris Therien :handclap: :yo:
Eric Desjardins
Kim Johnsson
Donald Brashear :handclap:
Jon Sim :handclap:
Brian Savage :)
Jamie Storr
Pat Kavanagh

so hpefully hitch realizes that brash and therien are useless and doesnt resign them!
plus sim and savage are free agents. i wouldnt mind if he kept savage on for min salery but otherwise hes not worth it

and hopefully KJ gets resigned. and hopefully cause of desjardins injurys hell take way less money.

I don't think Hitch is incharge of resigning players.

How old is Rico now? He could retire.

Therien is coming back, I can feel it im my bones.

HoverCarle* 01-11-2006 02:41 PM

hes 36-7 i think. he may retire but itl be sad cause when he was healthy he was having one of his best seasons in a while

Sim is fine by me. The rest that you are clapping for, I agree.

I'm sure that Hitch has some say in player/personnel moves that the team makes. If he goes to Clarke and says there are certain players he does not want back on his roster, I would be willing to bet that they won't be back next season.
