daze didn't play last night, and might not be playing tonight. i'd be shocked if schnabel played tonight, as well...and i don't think mason is DEFINITE yet, either...but we'll see. I think as long as Vokoun WANTS to play and IS ABLE to play...he should...but it might be a decent night to let him rest and give Mason a shot.

Teemu 10-19-2003 12:53 PM

Daze will not be dressed today, as his back results will not come back until tommorow

Stuy 10-19-2003 12:55 PM

Like I said earlier. A easy win for the Preds but Ruutu and Tootoo should be entertaining at least.

DJ Spinoza 10-19-2003 12:55 PM

I wish Vokoun was playing, for fantasy purposes.:rolly:

Can someone tell me about Vorobiev? Is he a young player I assume? (worth adding in some keepers?)

Thanks, and since Vokoun isn't starting I have to root for Chicago. Go Arnason!

keep in mind, though, Mason is in net, not Vokoun. so there is a glimmer of hope.

There it is! Ruutu's first of the year on the PP!

CNote 10-19-2003 04:07 PM

3RD PRD: CHI - (PP) TUOMO RUUTU 1 (BRETT MCLEAN, STEVE SULLIVAN) 0:53

woohoo!!! congrats tuomo!

Radulov for Czar* 10-19-2003 04:15 PM

yeah yeah, congrats to him.. but more imortantly, Preds are down 3-1!! This can't happen, we need all the points we can get if we wanna keep up with DET.

CCF 10-19-2003 04:27 PM

Chicago wins it...

Some late chances for the Preds there, but they couldn't solve Jocelyn or the post...

barrytrotzsneck 10-19-2003 04:32 PM

that game was frustrating to watch in a way i haven't experienced since this time last year. effortless, tired, passionless hockey on the part of nashville. they deserved to lose, and they did.
that doesn't make me any less angry, though..and i hope trotz raises all hell over this.

Stuy 10-19-2003 04:32 PM

Man chicago and nashville take alot of penalties. Alot.

Teemu 10-19-2003 05:35 PM

my preciction (as evidenced by BHZ.com) was 2-1 hawks with ruutu and calder scoring. i was so damn close :p

Yep, Chicago currently averages the most penalties a game with Nashville in a close second! No joke, they showed the stat during the game.

Any Scraps, Broodbank has been taking on anyone he can? Who is Travis Moen, did he take the enforcer job from Vandy? Strudwick is more of a light heavy correct.
