King Blazer 01-16-2006 11:26 AM

from his profile on TSN.ca

05-Jan-06: Missed 4 games (groin).
26-Dec-05: Groin, day-to-day.
03-Dec-05: Missed 3 games (concussion).
23-Nov-05: Concussion, sidelined indefinitely.
20-Nov-05: Missed 9 games (elbow injury).
30-Oct-05: Elbow injury, late November.
13-Oct-05: Missed 3 games (groin).
06-Oct-05: Groin, sidelined indefinitely.

I think the Kings will pass on an older player having a season like this...

not to mention that Wayne wouldn't allow Barnett (or vice versa) to send him to a team within the conference...

With the way he's played this year, I dont think it'd matter much.

You would think so, but I was listening to an interview with Gretz on a night that he made a coaching decision to scratch Nedved, and although most of it seemed to come directly from IHOC (International House of Cliches), he was very aware of Nedved's abilities, and felt that his skills had not eroded enough to be concerned over the long haul. I stand by my statement. They may send him away, but not within the conference.

That's not going to make his wife very happy.

We don't need another injury prone forward. We need defensive help first & foremost.
