Kings picked to Blow up

Today on Sportsnet.ca they had a poll. Which team is most likely to fall apart in the second half.

Guess who won. Thats right. The La KINGS WON.

I am very afraid that the people that voted might be right. Can the Kings fix this?? of is this season a right off now??

Relax, the votes in these polls are always skewed by the results from the last 2-3 games. Case in point, right after we beat Dallas in consecutive games around the New Years there was a thread on the main board about playoff seeding, and everyone was putting us second or third in the West.

Bingo. LA doesn't get a ton of respect from the Canadian media and/or hockey fans in general. Plus, LA's propensity for injuries to its top players has to put us at the top of such lists. :shakehead

You take the praise with the hate ladies and gentlemen. The Kings would never be in such a poll if they were healthy for the most part.

hey, don;t listen to that...OUR BOYS ARE GONNA PROVE THEM WRO....ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh **** maybe they're right.

Can't argue with those poll results. When the Kings were tops in the division, anyone would've told you that the Kings were huge candidates for a 2nd-half tank. Now that it's started, it's even more of an easy bet. History will tell you that the Kings can't stay consistent or healthy and more often than not will miss the playoffs. Poll results like that will continue until the Kings shake off their problems and prove themselves capable of being a true, annual playoff team.

They can throw this poll down the tube, for what I care.
Once our top players will be back, we'll see who'll tank in the second half of the season.

We'll see.
