Best way to remove rivets from skates

...besides taking it to a pro shop. :)

I've got some Tour Blue Max's and want to switch up the frames. But they've been a real bear for me. Anyone done this before?

Thanks

I've taken them out of ice skates a couple times.

To start I use a small flat blade screw driver to get under the rivet head and start to pry it up.

Then I take wire cutters like the ones in the picture and get under the head and pull it out (without cutting it off!). Pretty easy.

Thanks for the tip... I may try that. The inside sole of my boots are a plastic material and the prongs on the inside dig down into those pretty good. I'll give it a shot tho... thanks agian!
