I'm off to get my drink on so I won't catch the game. Flyers are going to smash Tampa's streak against them tonight; that's my prediction.

Let's Go Flyers!!!

Is Esche getting the start again?

phlacheesesteak 03-17-2006 02:03 PM

[QUOTE]Hitchcock said that Robert Esche would start in net against Tampa Bay, while Antero Niittymaki will get the call in Atlanta on Saturday. Esche will most likely face fellow Team USA Olympian John Grahame, while Niittymaki should be opposite Kari Lehtonen, who was unable to play for Finland in the Olympics and whom lost to Niittymaki and the Phantoms in the 2005 Calder Cup Finals.

That's basically what the Daily News said - not to rush him with back to back games. He's wearing a brace and does not have full range of motion.

Isn't Kapanen supposed to be one of our best PKers too though?
