According to the telecast last night Joel Bouchard could play in this game.

Alan Rourke looked good enough to where he could force a regular out in that case but that's unlikely unless Colliton or Godard are scratched and Shaw goes with seven defenders.

Shaw did a very good job with the minutes for his defense, expect the same tonight.

We all know the numbers, need two points here to pick themselves right back up, Islanders keep skating and working hard they have a good chance to do that. That line with Hunter-Satan-York has to pick it up and produce some goals, so does the pp, and especially Jason Blake.

Not going to be easy at all with Florida beating Ottawa and Carolina recently, after losing and being shut out will come out looking to take the play at a club playing it's third game in four nights.

I guess Bates goal stood as credited to him, he scores in bunches so they will need more from him also.

LET'S GO ISLANDERS !!!!!

Well any people from the list actually be in attendence tonight? I was at the Panthers-Flyers on Wed and it sounded like the Panthers had moved their arena to South Philly. Hoping it's like that tonight. Also hoping Bouchard is in tonight. They're gonna need him.

No, I wish I was going tonight. It's obviously a must-win game.

LETS GO ISLANDERS!

DiPietro v. Luongo...

Let's hope this is one of those rare occassions where Milbury looks good for the night.

Tampa playing Philidelphia, a tougher team than Florida. So we could have some good scoreboard watching tonight. If we win and Tampa loses, we'll be 4 points behind with one game in hand going into Sunday's matchup against them.

Anyway, I'm not going to make a prediction tonight because I've been WAY off lately. :dunce:

I'll predict we come out like complete animals and that the game is in our hands by the end of the first. LET'S GO ISLES!!!!!

I say, 4-2 Isles in this one. Isles goals by Campoli, Satan, York, and Nilsson. Panthers goals by Horton and Nieuwendyk.

LETS GO ISLANDERS!

srednalsi 03-17-2006 01:42 PM

Satan is due for an awakening!! maybe a 3 point night!

Tom Liodice 03-17-2006 01:45 PM

This should be a winnable game if the Isles continue their never-give-up attitude. Looking forward to the results, hopefully the Isles will move within 3 pts.

I have been thinking the same thing about Blake but I have been attributing it to that concussion he got a couple months back. Either way he has not been as productive lately. Just kind of skating circles and then not much else. But the way he skates and works will produce something eventually.

The powerplay needs to get going! its been too long since it has scored.

Islanders lose 3-2

Horton scores the game winner with 32 seconds left Jokinen gets the assist

And I really hope Snow starts, no one hates Snow more then me, but I think DP was way overworked yesterday, and I could picture him having a lousy game if he is in net

Agreed. I think tonight would be a good night to give Snow a start. I can't see any other games coming up that'd be better. Then again, during the game last night Joe said that DP asked Shaw to start every game from here on out, so we'll see.

In a couple weeks we play 4 games in 5 nights. That probably the only other place int he schedule i would play Snow.

Ouch, that will hurt:/

I would have called up Hamilton though. Our PP is weak and i think he could help that.

Is Bouchard Back? they could go 11 forwards, 7 Defensemen.

boredmale 03-17-2006 07:34 PM

wooooohoooooo Loungo Out.

nyisles131 03-17-2006 07:34 PM

Good news...Jamie McClennan starting tonight for the Panthers.

Brain Hemorrhage 03-17-2006 07:37 PM

Had we won last night, I may have thrown one out there... I'm playing conservative tonight.

PP Isles, let's tie this up! :jump:

Eman Resu 03-17-2006 07:58 PM

Meanwhile, 1-1 in Philiadelphia halfway through the first.
