rusty skates
 
so after game last night, i left the skate holders on my skate and now my blades have little patches of rust on them, it is something to be worried about??

No you should not be too worried about it. If it is not too much rust,then it can be taken care of. I just use those circular sponges)(well they are not sponges)(it is kind of difficult to discribe :help: ) that are used to clean pots and pans and it gets rid of the rust quite easily.

One or two spots isn't going to effect the integrity of the blade too much. Performance wise, as long as the rust is not on the edges of the blade you will be fine.

Which kind of blade guards were you using?

once i see rust on mine i say bye bye to them even though you can just sharpen them.

If it's not on the blade edge, I wouldn't worry about it. I'd try to stop it from progressing, I have no idea how to do that, though.

Basically I have no advice.
