Stumpel!

"Day-to-day" and "Indefinitely" don't satisfy me. Kariya's in my pool and I freaked out when they said indefinitely, because that sounded like several months... until it turned out to be a week or two.

Now they're saying Stumpel (another player in my pool) is out indefinitely/day-to-day with the chest injury. I've been trying to find an approx. date for when he'll return, but have come up with nada. Any word on the timetable of his return?

so why would it matter that stumpel's IR status goes back to the 26th? does he need to be on IR for a specific amount of time?

Yeah, the link doesn't mention the amount of time he'll be gone for. :(

I believe IR is at least 7 days. So they put retroactive the 26th, the last game he played, so it makes him on the IR for 4 days already. So if he felt good enough to play in 3 days, he could rejoin the team.

thanks for the info, i've never been clear on that.

Sorry if this question has been asked before.

Any official word on how long will Stumpel be out? is Armstrong playing with Palffy for the time being?

P.S. I would like someone to tell me when will Allison comes back BUT I KNOW NOBODY CAN TELL!!! :(

No official word, but I think Andy Murray said the injury was very similar to the one Matty Norstrom sustained which kept him out for 3 weeks.

Who is more trustworthy? Daily News? or the LA Times?

In the Daily News, they say he's out another 2 weeks... so I venture that'd be around the 25th vs the Devils at home or 27th vs. the Yotes on the road.
