If Weekes starts this is the biggest game of his pro career.

Didn't he start some games in the cup finals?

It doesn't say he isnt playing. And it doesn't even say anything it being serious at all. And how does a shot hit him in the shoulder and wrist? And both manage to hurt him at the same time?

Ozolinsh shot two pucks at the same time at an unpadded Lundqvist, aiming for his should and wrist.

Like Balej20 said, I think Weekes started a few games beyond the first round when Carolina made their run. I'd say thats a little bigger than game 4 down 3-0 in the first round.

This series is over. The biggest game of the year was game 3 and the Rangers lost.Unless Dave Roberts can lace up a pair of skates and Tom Gordon throws up in the bullpen, the Rangers season will be over very soon

Don't worry Henrik is OK.

The Rangers certainly seemed to be getting the puck on net in practice. Goaltender Henrik Lundqvist winced after taking a Colton Orr shot on the lower left hand. Earlier, he was struck just under the left shoulder by a Martin Straka shot, but said he was fine afterward.

"There's no doubt we'll give 100 percent of what we have left here," said Lundqvist, the Swedish rookie who will start Saturday.

The way Lundqvist has played of late, Weekes starting might not be a bad idea, but if he says he's ok, let him play. NY needs someone to come up big.

I don't get these comments about Henke playing badly. I mean, the Parise deflection he probably should have stopped, but how about the other two, NO CHANCE. Game 1, how many of those goals were stoppable, one maybe two. So say he gives up two, how many games are we going to win with our two goals in three games.

Yes, he isn't playing on his head like he did for most of the season, but he certainly isn't playing badly. He hasn't given up goals that should be stopped.

Look at the guy at the other end. Marty hasn't had to make any sensational saves. When he did, the post did it for him. You stick anyone, including Marty, in the Rangers nets right now, and we are still down 3-0.

Agreed. Let the kid rest. It's pointless to let the Devils keep beating him up in nets. He's had a very long season for a young guy - the longest of his career - and there's little doubt it's taken its toll.

Let Weekes close out the season.

Let the kid rest? He'll have a few months after this game to rest. I'm sure he wants to play, he was the guy who got us here, so let him play if he wants to play.
